Data Transmission via Light
As a 3-member high school science projects, my group decided to explored the efficiency of using light as a medium for data transmission. We converted audio signal to flickering LED light signal and use various density films to simulate opacity of air pollution. I analyzed and processed tens of thousands of rows in Excel to calculate the loss of audio integrity by using Audacity as the middle tool.
The final stage of the project included presenting it to the panel of science teachers.
Along with the presentation, there was also a complementary handout and a midway report.
